Khotang
A bomb was found at the house of Chairman of Khotang Chamber of Commerce Rajendra Layalu on Monday. It is suspected that the bomb was planted by the cadres of the agitating parties.
Chair Layalu said he suspected that the bomb was kept by the cadres of the general strike enforcing political parties, as the Khotang Chamber of Commerce had retaliated against the general strike imposed by various disgruntled forces.
The Federal Socialist Forum, CPN-Maoist and CPN Maoist had called the general strike in the district on Sunday to protest the promulgation of the new constitution.
A bomb disposal team of Nepal Army defused the bomb this morning.
