Himalayan Hideaway Resort Pokhara, a property under The Centara Collection, opened on Thursday in Kaskikot, marking the entry of Pokhara’s first Thai luxury hospitality brand and signalling an expansion of premium tourism offerings beyond the city’s traditional Lakeside hub.
The resort was inaugurated at a ceremony attended by senior figures from the tourism and hospitality sector, industry stakeholders, business partners and media representatives.
Resort owner Robert Kee, Centara Hotels & Resorts Chief Operating Officer Michael Henssler, and Nepal Tourism Board Gandaki Province chief Mai Raj Lamichhanne highlighted Nepal’s growing appeal as a high-value international destination and the rising demand for experiential and wellness-oriented travel in the Himalayan region.
