A consultation session on hair, skin, makeup, and nail care was held on Saturday as part of Cosmetic Expo 2025 in Naxal, Kathmandu, focusing on education pathways and international career opportunities in the beauty and personal care industry.
Organised in collaboration with the International School of Aesthetics and Spa (ISAS) Beauty School, the session aimed to inform aspiring professionals about emerging trends, required skills, and global prospects in the sector.
Responding to participants’ queries, Kristina Subba, a CIDESCO-certified trainer at ISAS Beauty Academy, said many students prioritise low fees when selecting training institutes, often at the cost of quality. “Lower fees do not guarantee quality learning. Internationally accredited schools may be slightly more expensive, but they open doors to global recognition, access, and career opportunities,” she said.
LAPT-certified trainer Preeti Pandeu Durva cautioned students against relying solely on social media content while choosing institutes. She advised prospective learners to visit institutions in person and assess the curriculum, trainers, and overall learning environment before making a decision.
ISAS is an international franchise beauty school based in Baneshwor, Kathmandu. It is part of an international brand established by Bhakti Sapke, a well-known figure in global beauty education. With nearly two decades of experience, Sapke also serves as the UAE President of CIDESCO. Over the past 14 years, more than 6,000 students have graduated from ISAS, many of whom are now pursuing successful careers in the beauty industry across different countries.
