Nepse slips by 2.07 points amid mixed trading across sub-indices
Of the 250 listed firms, 94 gained while 156 saw their share prices decline.

The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) Index fell by 2.07 points on Monday, closing at 2,962.00. The decline represents a marginal drop of 0.06 percent compared to Sunday’s session, which had seen a sharper fall of 18.44 points.
Investor sentiment remained cautious, with a mixed performance across sub-indices. Development banks, finance, manufacturing & processing, and trading subgroups posted gains, while all other sectors closed in the red.
Of the 250 listed companies, 94 recorded gains, whereas 156 saw their share prices fall.
According to Nepse, a total of 44.12 million shares were traded across 170,726 transactions, amounting to a turnover of Rs19.36 billion.
