NEPSE posts marginal gain, turnover crosses Rs11.4 billion
Benchmark index inches up by 0.01 percent on Sunday; turnover slightly lower than previous session.

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index posted a marginal gain of 0.47 points on Sunday, the first trading day of the week, closing at 2,657.32. The benchmark index edged up by 0.01 percent compared to the previous session.
After consecutive declines in the past two trading days, NEPSE ended in positive territory, albeit with a minimal rise.
Of the traded companies, share prices of 90 increased while 157 declined.
The session recorded 95,374 transactions, with 25,393,762 shares changing hands. The total turnover reached Rs11.44 billion, slightly lower than Thursday’s Rs12.51 billion.
Among the 13 sub-indices, Development Bank, Hydropower, Manufacturing and Processing, Non-life Insurance, and Trading recorded gains, while the remaining subgroups declined.
