Standard Chartered Bank has announced a donation support of Rs13.3 million to the British Red Cross, the bank’s emergency response partner, following the recent earthquake in Western Nepal. The funding will help to support the Nepal Red Cross Society in providing first aid and medical assistance, as well as essentials like food, water, and relief items including emergency shelter kits to families who have lost their homes in the earthquake and are exposed to the elements with the winter approaching, the bank said in a statement.
