With the approval of the Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA), Ncell has been issuing new mobile numbers starting with 970 for the convenience of the customers. 

“Customers who have subscribed to the new mobile numbers have informed us about issues of not being able to receive One Time Password (OTP), problems while signing up for mobile apps and web-based services, technical difficulties while sending and receiving payments through wallets among others,” said the company. 

“Therefore, we would like to sincerely request all the government and semi-government agencies, banks and financial institutions, and private sector organisations among others that provide services using mobile numbers, to open their services by making the new mobile numbers starting with 970 also accessible like other mobile numbers.” (PR)
