The Nepal Oil Corporation reduced the prices of diesel and kerosene, effective from Tuesday mid-midnight.

According to Nepal Oil Corporation, the price of diesel and kerosene has been reduced by Rs10 per litre.

With the price revision, diesel and kerosene will cost Rs155 per litre.

The price of petrol, aviation turbine fuel and liquefied petroleum products remains unchanged at Rs175 per litre, Rs160 per litre for domestic turbine fuel and $1.350 per litre for aviation turbine fuel and Rs1,800 per cylinder respectively.

Despite dues remaining to be paid to Indian Oil Corporation and loans to be paid to the government, the corporation adjusted the price considering the consumers’ interest, said the oil monopoly in a press statement.
