Laxmi Cares hands over two EVs to Lumbini Development Trust

Laxmi Cares, an NGO established and managed by the employees of Laxmi Bank, has handed over two electric vehicles (EVs) to Lumbini Development Trust.
The EVs will be used to provide free conveyance service to senior, differently abled and needy pilgrims and visitors inside the premises of the Lumbini heritage site. The EVs are expected to cater for the mobility needs of a huge number of pilgrims expected to visit the Lumbini province during the upcoming Buddha Jayanti.
The EVs were handed over in a programme to Venerable MetteyaSakyaputta, Vice Chairman of Lumbini Development Trust jointly by Anup Shrestha, Chairperson and Shishu Joshi, Past President and Advisor of Laxmi Cares.
The event was attended by the Executive Board members of Lumbini Development Trust and representatives from Laxmi Cares.
The EVs were supported out of the proceeds of Orange Vibes 2023, a musical fund-raiser event conducted by Laxmi Cares on 1st April 2023.
Laxmi Cares has been organising various fundraising events to collect funds for social activities under its umbrella. (PR)
