Himalaya Airlines began charter flight service from Kunming Changshui International Airport, China to Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu on Thursday. 

Himalaya Airline Airbus A320 landed 180 Chinese tourist passengers on Thursday and is excited to welcome a total of 700 more passengers in the upcoming charter flights from Kunming to Kathmandu, the airline said in a press statement. 

Vijay Shrestha, vice president of Himalaya Airlines, expressed his excitement and thanked the government officials of China and Nepal for their support in making the charter flight service possible. 

“This is a significant step towards strengthening the bilateral relations between Nepal and China.” (PR)
