WIIT to honour 101 women in info-tech
Elisa Raj Bhandari, former programme coordinator at Asia Pacific Telecommunity, will give a presentation on the global initiatives on promoting gender equality in ICT.Post Report
Women in Information Technology (WIIT) said that it would honour 101 women involved in the field of information and communications technology amid a programme to mark the International Women’s Day in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
Minister for Communication and Information Technology Rekha Sharma will be the chief guest in the programme and Sumana Shrestha, member of parliament from Rastriya Swatantra Party, the keynote speaker, WIIT said in a statement.

Minu Pradhan, director of the Wireless Services Directorate of Nepal Telecom, will present a paper on 5G technology and its potential impact on the development of a truly smart society with gender equality.
