Nepal gets approval to export additional 325MW of electricity to India
Earlier in November last year, Nepal had received approval to export 39MW of electricity to the southern neighbour.

Nepal has received approval to export 325MW of electricity to the Indian energy market.
On Wednesday, the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation said at a press conference that Nepal has received approval for the export of electricity.
The Central Electricity Authority under the Ministry of Electricity of India has granted approval to the Nepal Electricity Authority to sell 325MW of electricity to the Indian market, the ministry said.
Earlier in November last year also Nepal had received approval to export 39MW of electricity to India.
Nepal has received approval to sell electricity from Marsyangdi (67MW), Madhya Marsyangdi (68MW), Trishuli (22MW), Devighat (14MW), Kaligandaki A (140MW) and Likhu (51MW) in the Indian market.
