Micromax launches four new phones
Micromax, a smartphone manufacturer from India is launching four phones at different price points to cater to the growing mobile phone market in Nepal. Two of them are feature phones while the remaining two are Android smartphones.

The latest phones from Micromax are aimed squarely at the budget conscious, with prices starting from Rs1892 to Rs5720.
The cheapest of the lot is the X730, a feature phone. It features a 2.4” screen, digital camera, expandable memory up to 8GB, dual Sim and a 1300 mAh battery.
Additional features found on the X730 are wireless FM radio, voice call recording, music player and video player. This phone is priced at Rs1892.
Increase your budget slightly, and the X740 comes within reach at Rs2035. It is also a smartphone with improved specifications over its little brother, the X730.
The X740 comes with a 2.4” screen, front and rear VGA camera, expandable memory, dual Sim plus a beefier 1800 mAh battery. The phone also features wireless FM radio, music player and video player.
Micromax is not forgetting about those who want to own a smartphone at an affordable price. The Q3001 and Q3301 are smartphones that are billed as one of the best budget phones in the segment, giving one a range of tremendous experiences, reads a press release.
The Q3001 costs only Rs5060 and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. It features 512 MB RAM and 4 GB ROM. The Q3001 comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.
The phone sports a high-resolution 5 MP primary camera as well as a 2 MP front-facing camera for selfies. It has a 4” FWVGA display and supports Bluetooth. It has a 1400 mAh battery and supports 3G. Micromax includes a free flip cover with every purchase of the Q3001.
The Q3301 is similar to the Q3001 but with slightly better specifications. It is also powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, features 512 MB RAM and 4 GB ROM. The Q3301 also comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS which ensures the smartphone to run fast and smooth, reads the press release.
There is a 5 MP primary camera while selfies are taken care of by a 2 MP front shooter. With a bigger 4.5” FWVGA display, the Q3301 also sports a larger 1650 mAh battery compared to the Q3001.
Bluetooth is available on the smartphone and it is 3G ready. To protect the Q3301 from scratches and drops, the company has included a transparent back cover.
