A 21-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl at Sanibheri Rural Municipality-7. According to the complaint filed by the victim, the suspect— a resident of Bhume Rural Municipality-9 in Rukum East— had raped the minor on Friday. “The perpetrator took the girl to an animal shed and committed the crime,” said DSP Sumit Khadka while making public the accused on Sunday. Security personnel detained the accused after the victim lodged a complaint at the police. (PR)
