Assembly calls for giving name to Province 5
Province 5 assembly members have called for giving a name to the province. Speaking at the zero hour of the Province Assembly meeting on Thursday, most of the assembly members raised the issues of various national importance, among them naming the province.

Speaking at the zero hour of the Province Assembly meeting on Thursday, most of the assembly members raised the issues of various national importance, among them naming the province.
Thirteen members addressed the provincial legislative body. Most of them urged the Speaker to begin the procedure of naming the province.
Lawmaker Bishnu Panthi from Kapilvastu demanded to proceed the issue of naming the province at the earliest.
“There is no problem over the name of the province. The government and the assembly should consider about the issue immediately,” Panthi said.
Jalpa Bhusal from Arghakhanchi also expressed her concern over the delay of naming the province. “I would like to request to proceed the issue of naming province immediately and let the assembly know about it,” she said.
The assembly members also raised the protocol issue of the ministers and demanded to inform the assembly regarding the recent meeting between Prime Minister and
Chief Minister Shankar Pokharel.
Assembly member Ramji Prasad Ghimire asked to correct the prevailing protocol and demanded to inform the legislative body about the recent discussion between Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and CM Pokharel.
They also raised the protocol issue of the ministers and the lawmakers. (PR)
