The Election Commission (EC) has rejected the government request to transfer six under-secretaries.
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) on Tuesday had written to the EC seeking the poll body’s approval to transfer the officials on deputation.
The EC has directed MoHA to submit original documents regarding the deputation of the officials.
