Thapa keen to make amends for poor first round results

Addressing party’s 28th anniversary on Monday, the RPP chairman stressed the need to correct the internal weakness and make public understand the party’s ideals and principles as well as its manifesto in view of the second phase of local elections.
On a different note, Thapa urged all not to do politics of negation, saying that the Madhes-centric political parties should be taken into confidence to ensure their participation in the second phase of elections. He said the RPP was in favour of the second constitution amendment bill registered in the Legislature-Parliament on November 29 and that the party would endorse it.
Also speaking at the programme, senior leader Pashupati Shumsher Rana underlined the need for all the political parties to move ahead united. He was of the view that the RPP has to consistently conduct political activities and win the public trust.
