Swiss Ambassador Jorg Giovanni Frieden paid a courtesy call on Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bimalendra Nidhi at the latter’s office in Singha Durbar on Tuesday. 

Talks between Frieden and Nidhi primarily focused on present political situation of Nepal, strengthening relations between the two countries and areas of bilateral cooperation, according to a statement issued by the office of the DPM. 

During the meeting, Nidhi expressed his gratitude for Switzerland’s assistance in Nepal’s development endeavours. 

Ambassador Giovani in response pledged continued Swiss support in Nepal’s development activities.
