Nepal Press Union has expressed its serious concern over attack on a journalist Abadesh Kumar Jha during Biratnagar protest on Thursday. Jha was beaten by the police while he tried to click pictures during the protest.bookmark

Nepal Press Union has expressed its serious concern over attack on a journalist Abadesh Kumar Jha during Biratnagar protest on Thursday. Jha was beaten by the police while he tried to click pictures during the protest.
Press Union’s General Secretary Ajay Babu Shiwakoti, in a press release said the activities carried out by the Police are against the freedom of expression and identity. The release states that the government and agitating parties should realise the existence of free press.
The release also demands action to be taken against the perpetrators involved in the attack.
