The rally started from the office premises of the National Federation of Disabled (NFD) at Bhrikutimandap in the capital today.
It turned into a corner meet at Bhadrakali. Addressing the corner meet, NFD chairman Sudarshan Subedi urged the parties and the Constituent Assembly to include their suggestions in the new constitution as over 5,000 disabled people had sent their suggestions demanding a disabled-friendly constitution.
Similarly, the federation general secretary Tika Dahal informed that they would be compelled to go for protest if their demands were not addressed.
It is stated that about three million people of the total population in the country are disabled. RSS
