Post-quake campaign at Yellow House
Art Refuge UK is organising a campaign to establish a support-group for professionals working with people affected by the earthquake.
Starting from June 6, the campaign will host workshop sessions every Saturday at the Yellow House, Sanepa. The workshop, which will be co-facilitated by Jess Linton—art psychotherapist—and Raj Kaji Prajapati—psychologist and artist—will commence from 11 in the morning and will go on till 1pm.
The campaign invites artists, arts educators, teachers, youth workers, social
workers, and care workers to participate.
The programme will offer space where individuals can reflect on and share their
personal and professional experiences.
The campaign will provide an opportunity to draw on experiential activities to explore useful areas for work, such as listening and witnessing skills, working with trauma, building resilience, providing self-care, psychological first aid (PFA), psycho-education, grounding techniques and mentalisation.
