Relatives have agreed to perform the final rites on Saturday after the administration agreed to address five of the seven-point demand of the 'Beti Bachau (Save the Daughters)' Struggle Committee, Kalaiya.
Daughter of Badri Narayan Sah of Kalaiya-4, Puja, was raped by Kanhai Gupta, 28, from Kalaiya-6 at Motibag of the district on February 20. She was found lying unconscious on the spot where the incident had taken place.
The minor had breathed her last during her treatment at the Kanti Children's Hospital in Kathmandu.
Puja’s final rites was delayed as protesters led the committee and other organisations kept the body at Bharat Chowk and using it as a leverage to put pressure on the government.
