Former lawmaker Bohara was receiving treatment for heart complications when he passed away yesterday night. His final rites were performed at Pashupati Aryaghat on Wednesday.

Bohara was the CA member of UML under the Proportional Representation (PR) category in the first CA. He had served in the Nepal Army for 38 years before retiring from the post of Brigadier General in 2055 BS.

The late UML leader was the member of UML Darchula-Kathmandu contact office. Bohara was also a member of Army Integration Special Committee formed during the integration of Maoist combatants in the Nepal Army.
