Pakistani ambassador to Nepal Abrar H. Hashmi said such gatherings provide a platform for alumni to strengthen mutual understanding between the two countries.
He recalled that many alumni had experienced Pakistan’s culture, cuisine, and hospitality, creating lasting memories and respect. He added that over 4,000 Nepali graduates of Pakistani institutions contribute to Nepal’s development and the global diaspora.
Alumni welcomed the expanded gathering and expressed commitment to fostering cultural, educational, and people-to-people ties between Pakistan and Nepal. Participants highlighted the importance of education and training in IT, AI, medical innovation, and other need-based disciplines, pledging continued support.
