House fire near Bhimsensthan brought under control

Kathmandu
A house near Bhimsensthan in ward 20 of Kathmandu Metropolitan City caught fire on Monday morning.
The blaze, which broke out around 4am, was brought under control with the help of six fire engines from Kathmandu and Lalitpur Metropolitan Cities, the Nepal Army, police, and local residents, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Purnima Chand, spokesperson for Kathmandu District Police Range.
She said that the extent of the damage is still being assessed.
