A 26-year-old man, Gopal Dangi, a resident of Kumakh Rural Municipality-7, died in a motorcycle accident at Darma Rural Municipality-4.
According to Police Inspector Baburam Basnet, who is also an information officer at the District Police Office, Salyan, the motorcycle met with an accident at around 8pm on Tuesday while Dangi was on his way home.
Dangi was taken to Salyan District Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The motorcycle went out of control and fell some 100 meters below the road, Basnet said. The body is kept at the hospital for a post-mortem report before handing it over to the family, police said.
