Two people died in a road accident near Katkuwa in Birendranagar Municipality-7 of Surkhet on Monday.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Birendra Bir Bishwakarma, spokesperson for Surkhet District Police Office, the minibus en route to Surkhet from Dailekh overturned, killing two and injuring fifteen passengers.

The injured have been taken to hospital, said Bishwakarma.

Further details about the incident are yet to be known, he added.
