One dies in excavator accident

A 24-year-old man died when an excavator met with an accident in Bagchaur Municipality-4 of Salyan district on Saturday.
Police identified the deceased as Dipendra Chaudhary of Gadhuwa Rural Municipality-5 of Dang. He was the assistant of the excavator operator.
The heavy equipment lost its control and plunged some 10 metres below the road in Syalgaira. Police took the excavator operator under control for investigation.
