The number of deaths due to cold among the earthquake-displaced has reached 29 in Jajarkot on Wednesday.
According to Chandra Thapa, mayor of Chhedagad Municipality, a 58-year-old woman from Jhapra in ward 11 of the municipality died on December 11. She was among the displaced and was living under a tarpaulin tent.
The magnitude 6.4 earthquake with its epicentre at Ramidanda, Barekot Rural Municipality, Jajarkot, on November 3 had destroyed countless houses leaving hundreds of families in several districts homeless.
