Police constable dies of gunshot wound in Surkhet

A police constable was found dead with a bullet wound in Surkhet in the wee hours on Thursday.
According to the Surkhet District Police Office, 26-year-old Kabindra BK, a constable at the Karnali Province battalion posted at Sukatiya Police Post in Surkhet, was found dead with a gunshot to his left temple on Thursday morning.
Police said that the bullet recovered from the incident spot matches the Self-Loading rifle that BK was in possession of.
BK was on-duty from 1-3 am and was stationed at police post-number-4.
A team of eight police personnel, under district police inspector Milan Pandey, has been deployed for further investigation.
