Nepal Army Lieutenant Colonel found dead in Jumla

A Lieutenant Colonel of the Nepal Army has been found dead inside a brigade in Jumla district on Monday morning.
Senior Superintendent of Police Madhav Shrestha at Karnali Province Police Office, Surkhet said Lieutenant Colonel Anjan Rupakheti deployed at brigade number 24 of the national army was found hanging from the bathroom’s ceiling.
SSP Shrestha said preparations are being made to send the body for post-mortem after it is received by the deceased’s family.
A team of the District Security Committee led by the Chief District Officer has reached the brigade, police said, adding that a further investigation is underway.
