Chitwan District Court resumes more services after arson
Court begins handling marriage, guardianship, and other petitions.

The court, which lost key documents in the September 9 fire, will now register special petitions, including marriage and guardianship cases.
The Chitwan District Court, which suffered major damage and lost important documents and records in a fire on September 9, has resumed additional services from Thursday.
According to court spokesperson Amrit Bishwakarma, the court has started registering and hearing petitions, including marriage registration, power of attorney, judicial declaration of death, and appointment of guardians.
From Sunday, the court will also begin registering divorce cases filed for reconciliation purposes and injunction petitions, Bishwakarma said.
The court had resumed limited services on September 31.
The court said it will issue a separate notice later about the resumption of other services.
