Nepal logs 21 new Covid-19 cases
According to the Health Ministry, 966,540 infected people have recovered from the disease so far and the number of active cases stands at 271.Post Report
Nepal on Monday reported 19 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,762.
Similarly, 2 people tested positive in a total of 1,133 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Monday, 5,620,394 PCR and 1,161,238 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 3,642 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,951 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,540 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 17 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 271.
Kathmandu Valley recorded 17 new infections in the last 24 hours. All of them were confirmed in Kathmandu.
In the past 24 hours, one new infection was recorded in Madhes, 17 in Bagmati and one in Lumbini.
Nepal on Sunday reported 11 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 18 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Saturday and nine new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Friday.
