Kantipur Television will air the cooking show Celebrity Kitchen, hosted by actor Priyanka Karki.
The channel signed a broadcast agreement on Tuesday. The deal was signed by Kantipur TV Chief Operating Officer Suraj Singh Thakuri and the show’s producer Mahesh Pokharel.
Pokharel said the programme will air every Wednesday from 9pm to 10pm. He said 17 episodes have already been filmed. “We have completed filming 17 episodes in the first phase,” he said. “The show blends food and lifestyle in a new format.”
The show features chef Prakash Katuwal guiding Karki as she prepares dishes ranging from Nepali cuisine to international flavours. Guests on the show will taste the dishes and share their reactions. The programme also includes conversations on lifestyle, eating habits and related subjects.
Karki has hosted 35 artists so far. The programme, produced by Malin Media and Event, is expected to run for more than 25 episodes, Pokharel said.
