During the programme, Nyaupane described ‘Swasparsha’ as a remedy for psychological healing. “Dr KC is someone who treats through storytelling. His book provides therapeutic benefits and fosters mental well-being,” Nyaupane added.
Dr Koirala said, “I do not get much time to study literary works, but I have read ‘Swasparsha’. I found it valuable and recommend that others read it. The book will also be available at the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health (KIOCH) for children and patients, where it can be especially beneficial for those with psychological challenges,” he stated.
The author, Dr KC, said that ‘Swasparsha’ contains stories of hope, inspiration, and happiness. Drawing from his experience of reading numerous books, he has woven tales from his birthplace in Karnali into this work. He described the book as a journey for every individual, from self-struggle to self-touch (Swasparsha), and affirmed that it belongs to people of all ages.
