Gallery Mcube is organising an interactive talk and presentation programme about  avant-garde art during the Panchayat era at its premises in Patan on Tuesday.

Reflecting on a critical perspective, the event will see a presentation by Spanish scholar Andrea De La Rubia who will talk about the history of Nepali modern art and the avant-garde scene during the Panchayat period.

The event is part of Gallery Mcube’s initiative to induce visual art culture as a mainstream affair with diverse art genres. Established as an alternative art space for visual art, the Gallery is known for organising talk series, Mcube chakati Guff, community art projects, film screenings, and art classes.

The event starts 4 pm onwards.
