A four-day long theatre fair for students concluded at Kathmandu Pragya Kunja School on May 14, with the staging of plays put together by budding student-actors.
The fair saw the participation of students from grade four to nine.
At the festival, grade four students put together two plays—Bhola and Pahenlo Bus; grade five staged Ujyalo Tira and Roll number four; Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by grade six students; Beauty is a Beast by grade seven students; Madhumalatiko Katha by grade eight; and Kitabbhitra Kitab Bahira by the student actors of grade nine.
The original plays were written and directed by artist Tanka Chaulagain and the adapted plays were also directed by Chaulagain himself.
