Sabda Sangraam, director Dayaram Dahal’s debut anthology of poetry, has hit the shelves. The book was launched jointly by author Satya Mohan Joshi, Defence Minister Ishwar Pokharel, author Rochak Ghimire, and actor Nikhil Uprety, amid a function held on Friday.

“Dayaram Dahal is one of the heavyweights in Nepali cinema. He has directed many good films. Now that he has come out as a poet as well, I believe the book will prove fruitful to people from all walks of life, especially to politicians,” minister Pokharel said, speaking at the event.  The publisher, Dikura Publications, has stated that in Sabda Sangraam Dahal has given an overarching view of his life so far, from his launch into the Nepali film industry as a director to the present.
