Printmaking workshop for kids at Art Market
The Yellow House Art Market, a bi-monthly bazaar for artists, art entrepreneurs, and art enthusiasts, is taking place this Saturday at its usual venue in Yellow House, Sanepa.The Yellow House Art Market, a bi-monthly bazaar for artists, art entrepreneurs, and art enthusiasts, is taking place this Saturday at its usual venue in Yellow House, Sanepa. The stalls at the art market will be selling products designed in Nepal such as prints, cards, paintings, posters, designer products, jewelry and other creations.
The Art Market, a creative platform established by Image Ark in collaboration with the Yellow House, this month has one extra feature: a Kid’s Print-making Workshop, hosted by Srijanalaya, a nonprofit that works towards creating safe spaces of learning through the arts.
“The event is organised as per Srijanalaya’s mission to create safe spaces of learning through the arts. In our vision, every child should have access to a safe space to express themselves and to be heard,” said the organisers. The one-day workshop will lead the participant children (of age group 6+) through various process of print making basics.
The fees for participation are priced at Rs 300.
