The song Kutu ma Kutu from the upcoming film Dui Rupaiyan has set a new benchmark on Youtube. The song, which features actors Nischal Basnet, Swastima Khadka and Buddhi Tamang, has within 49 days of its unveiling garnered north of 10 million views in the video sharing site.

The film’s cast and crew organised a ceremony to celebrate the song’s success at Station 5 in Gairidhara, in the Capital, on Monday. 

Dui Rupaiyan, an action-comedy produced under the banner of G21 Productions and Black Horse Pictures, is directed by Asim Shah, and features actors Asif Shah, Nischal Basnet and Buddhi Tamang, in the lead roles. 

Speaking at the occasion, director Shah said, “It’s nothing less than marvellous for a Nepali music video to cross 10 million views. And that too in just 49 days of its release—the fastest for a Nepali music video—gives us more to celebrate.” Shah added, “We hope that the audience will show the same enthusiasm for the film as well.”

Dui Rupaiyan is slated to hit theatres on September 8.
