The book includes the author’s take on core contemporary issues in the likes of Nepal’s political history and intellectualism that dominate Nepal’s political-intellectual discourse.
Speaking about the book, Pathak has said, “The book seeks to find an appropriate linguistics to understand the problems of the Nepali society. A couple of questions used to keep coming up while writing the book. The things, texts and interpretations, we read as history-from whose point of view were they written? From the point of view of the kings or general public? Did the history we read help us get a better sense of our society and the problems underlying within? The book seeks answers to these questions.”
The release function saw author Pathak engage in a conversation with analyst and politician Pradeep Giri.
