The fifth day of Mega Book Fair and Literature Festival in Itahari marked the occasion of Valentine’s Day with poetry recitation on love, on Tuesday. The recital organised by Batika Youth Council featured upcoming as well as veteran poets.
The intimate event kicked off with poet Khemraj Sharma’s recital, where he shared his poem with the valentine’s day as its theme. His recital was followed by that of poet Khadka Khatiwada, whose poem echoed the importance of mutual respect in love.
Poets such as Navaraj Mainali, Ram Prasad Kharel, and Punya Prasad Parajuli also shared their words at the event.
The 11th iteration of the regional fair and literature festival organised by Dikura Publication and Res Media will continue till February 18.
