All the proceeds from the show will go towards rebuilding the quake-affected villages in Gorkha. Barpak Village in the district was the epicentre of the Great Quake, which struck Nepal on April 25. Many other villages in Gorkha too were badly affected by the quake and the subsequent tremors. The show’s coordinator, Yogeshwor Amatya, hopes that the huge Nepali diaspora living in London will show up for the performance. According to the organisers, tickets for the show have also been bought online by fans living in countries such as Belgium, Germany, France and Ireland.
The show is being staged with the support of the Embassy of Nepal, London.
