The Hidden Treasure has unveiled the theme for Miss Nepal 2026: ‘Top of the World’. The title is a testament to Nepal’s mountainous heritage and the legacy of contestants whose dreams aim to touch the sky.

The application has been open. Like previous years, the eligibility for contestants is to have a minimum height of 5'3" and be between 18 and 27 years of age. Applicants must hold Nepali citizenship; for the Nepali diaspora, an NRN card issued by the Home Ministry is required. Applications will be closed on June 8, 2026. Registration is free.

The announcement programme happened on Wednesday at The Plaza, Pulchowk. In the event, the crown holders, Luna Luitel (Miss Nepal 2025), Deepshikha Nepal (Miss Cosmo Nepal 2025), and Urusha Bhandari (Miss Nepal International 2025), shared a glimpse of how the pageant has been a transformative experience for them. Despite her absence, Sony Ghale (Miss Nepal Earth 2025) sent a heartfelt message in support of the upcoming pageant.

This year, there will be three crowned winners: Miss Nepal World, Miss Nepal Cosmo and Miss Nepal International.

Hidden Treasure’s director, Pramod Kansakar, acknowledged a major structural change that is being implemented for this year’s Miss Nepal. From a change in the judges' panel to a focus on contestants’ overall preparedness, the organisation aims to build this year’s Miss Nepal to leave an international mark.

“We tried to bring a few adaptations from international pageants, as preparing our contestants before they set foot on a global platform is crucial," said Kansakar.

As Kansakar mentioned, there will be no question-and-answer round for the top 13 participants this year. Similarly, he announced the pageant’s upcoming rounds, which focus on the overall growth of the contestants. There will be a sports challenge, a head-to-head challenge, a multimedia challenge and many more.

He also announced regional auditions will be held in 7 cities: Birtamod, Butwal, Itahari, Janakpur, Nepalgunj, Pokhara and Kathmandu. The audition for Kathmandu is scheduled for June 9, 2026.

The grand finale of Miss Nepal 2025 is scheduled for August 1, 2026, at The Plaza, Pulchowk.
