The Meteorological Forecasting Division has stated that the country is currently experiencing the partial influence of westerly and local winds, leading to partly cloudy conditions in hilly areas while other regions remain clear.

During the day, Koshi and Gandaki provinces’ hilly areas may witness light rain with thunder and lightning, while some high-altitude and mountainous areas could see light snowfall.

Tonight, hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces will have partly cloudy skies, while other regions remain clear. The division has advised caution as weather conditions may impact daily activities, agriculture, health, road transport, and aviation.
