The weather across the country is forecast to be generally cloudy on Saturday.

Light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is expected in several parts of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Karnali Province, Sudur Pashchim Province, Gandaki Province and Lumbini Province, as well as at one or two places in Madhesh Province.

Tonight, the weather is expected to remain generally cloudy throughout the country, with light to moderate rainfall.

Likewise, moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places in Bagmati Province, Koshi Province, Lumbini Province, Sudur Pashchim Province, and Gandaki Province, as well as at one or two places in the rest of the provinces.

Heavy rainfall is expected at one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati, Sudur Pashchim and Gandaki provinces.

The maximum temperature on Friday was recorded at 37.5 degrees Celsius in Janakpur, while Jomsom’s lowest recorded temperature was 16.0 degrees Celsius.
