CPN (Maoist Center) candidate Sagar Kiranti has won chairperson post of Mahakulung rural municipality in Solukhumbu district.

CPN (Maoist Center) candidate Sagar Kiranti has won chairperson post of Mahakulung rural municipality in Solukhumbu district.
Kiranti secured 1,402 votes to defeat his nearest rival NC's Bhalakaji Kulung on 1,383 votes.
Maoist Center has won in two rural municipalities in the district. Party's Damber Bahadur Basnet had won in Likhupike rural municipality on Thursday.
