A full scale emergency drill was conducted at the Tribhuvan International Airport in the Capital on Friday.
The mock drill was conducted as a part of the International Civil Aviation Organisation regulations that requires an internationally recongnised airports to conduct security drill every two years.
The country’s only international airport remained shut for half-an-hour from 4:30pm to 5pm today to conduct the drill.
A plane mishap scenario was simulated where the security personnel among other rescue experts performed an emergency response drill.
