Danish Prince Joachim Holger Waldemar Christian has arrived in Nepal on a 10-day visit at the invitation of Care Nepal and the Embassy of Denmark in Kathmandu.
The Danish prince is scheduled to visit Kavre, Gorkha, Tanahun, Syangja, Kaski, Dhanusha, Siraha and Sindhuli districts and take stock of the different programmes being run here during his stay in Nepal, according to Care Nepal.
During his visits to different districts, Prince Joachim will gather information on earthquake response programmes, food security and livelihood programmes, sexual and reproductive health, natural resource management and disaster preparedness among others.
This is the second informal visit of the Danish prince to Nepal. Joachim, who is also the patron of Care Denmark, is accompanied by Chair of Care Denmark and CEO of Care Denmark and other representatives.
