Police forms special taskforce for public security during festivals
The Nepal Police has formed a special taskforce in view of maintaining public security and order in view of the different festivals.

The Nepal Police has formed a special taskforce in view of maintaining public security and order in view of the different festivals.
In this connection, the police department has operated 12 'help desks' at different places in the Kathmandu Valley alone.
Chief of the Metropolitan Police Office Kathmandu, Additional Inspector General of Police Pratap Singh Thapa said a special campaign has been run for public security in view of the festivals. He said the police has observed full alertness to curb criminal activities. Police personnel in plainclothes and uniform have been mobilised for this purpose, he added. RSS
